Topics to be covered:
Students will be exposed to all aspects of the building/construction process. Students will be required to complete written assignments as well as hands-on activities. The majority of the class will be hands-on projects that may include laying brick/block, concrete work, framing, siding, roofing, windows/doors, electrical, plumbing, drywall, trim, paint, and flooring. The main project of the year will be construction of storage buildings.
Make-up assignments:
Make-up work will be completed according to the student handbook.
Classroom Expectations:
Classroom and shop rules will be covered at the beginning of the semester.
